MGT Profile FAQ

All registered members can see your game profile although you have some custom controls that allows you to further customize your profile allowing you to show it to just friends for example. We are continually adding control features allowing gamers to show info they want shown from their profiles.

You can "Edit Profile" and access the details of your account and change them as needed. You will see several tabs allowing you to fully customize your account. One of those tabs are for your Avatar. Avatars are resized keeping the ratios but adapting them to fit the space allotted and will automatically create the thumbnails.

Like the Avatar, you "Edit Profile" and there is a tab that allows you to upload a new canvas for your profile page. Canvas images are also resized but should be in the area of 1024x250 to properly fit. The image can be updated as often as you like so you can try as many as you like until you find the one that FITS your character!

You can easily create galleries for your photos, videos, files and / or music by clicking the "New Gallery" button and supplying a Gallery Name and a description (optional) and clicking "Save". Once the gallery is create, and you can make as many as you need, you will be able to upload digital media to the chosen gallery. 

MGT allows users to make their own galleries for the media types they wish to share so your are in control of your own destiny!

Yes! Create a "Music Gallery" and stat uploading your music files. They will be in your gallery and others can also listen to the selections you have made. You can have multiple galleries (country, pop, rock) and keep all your media organized nice and neat making it easier for others to fins and listen to your music.

You can "upload" or "link" shared videos from YouTube, Facebook and other social media sites that offer those features. The videos will play the same regardless whether its a link or uploaded media.

Yes! You can use use the collapsed menu on your profile page to view "Latest Visitors" and a list of gamers who have been to your page will be displayed.

Using the permission controls, you can choose who you allow to view your profile. This in an in-depth topic but you are able to control your profile from many levels. The controls allow for group (friends, registered community, public) as well as control the individual tabs and fields those groups see. 

More "User Controls" are being added continually to give your FULL control over YOUR TURF!

You can manage your connections on the profile page on the top bar choosing "Connections" and then "Manage Your Connections" from the drop-down menu.

The MGT ProfileWall gives all gamers a wall specifically for their profile page.. your own wall. This differs from the Community Game Wall in the manner of it profile specific and will allow you to control who can view that wall.

Much like the ProfileWall, the ProfileBlogs gives each gamer a setup of blogs specific to your profile where you will have more control over who see the blogs. This is different from the main site Blogs which you can also post community or game wide blogs. The ProfileBlogs is more your personal blogs and does not offer as many features as the site blogs.

The ProfileBook in short is a Gamers GuestBook allowing people who stop by to view your profile to sign the book and let you know what they think or just say "Hi".

Yes! There are shortcuts to most features of the site in your profile area allowing to post blogs, forum post, photos . videos or even simple PM. You have a wide variety of features and your profile page is where these features come together.

Yes! You can actually disable these features on your profile if you do not wish to use them. Just edit your profile and there are tabs for each feature allowing you to completely disable or fine tune any settings.
